Customer Services Representative – Wexford

Our client is seeking to recruit a Customer Services Representative.

In this role you will provide a high level of focus against key accounts in the region. This position will be responsible for ensuring a high level of Customer service through effective communication. The role will involve interfacing with Customers worldwide, managing their orders from receipt through to delivery, monitoring their future demand, delivering high levels of engagement and managing all issues to ensure development of effective corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities will include:

Develop and execute fulfillment strategies using sales forecasts, inventory reports, financial analysis and other sources in order to achieve the optimum balance between warehousing, fulfillment, freight costs and delivery time to customer.

Develop supply chain programmes in order to improve quality and supply chain efficiencies.

Consult with customers, sales and suppliers in order to improve performance, products and services

Manage future demand through proactive liaison with Customers and stakeholders within the System, involving analysis of historical sales, future forecasts, rolling estimate and market performance.

Review customer orders at warehouse/facility using knowledge of equipment capability and capacity.

Manage Customer issues ensuring effective communication internally, trend analysis to facilitate in development of corrective actions, and follow up to ensure close out of issues, and effectively manage communication on progress with Customers.

Follow up with Customers on products and services to determine satisfaction and to gain information for improvement.

Liaise with Customers, Vendor Schedulers, Production Planners, Operations and Quality Assurance.

Gather and analyse key procurement metrics using data collection techniques

Skills and Experience Required:

Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Customer Service or related role in a Food, Drink, Pharma or similar environment

Third level degree or diploma in a business related or equivalent discipline an advantage. Certificate in Logistics and Transport preferred.

Business proficiency in English (an additional European language an advantage (preference would be French)

Excellent PC skills and spreadsheet experience.

Strong analytical skills.

Ability to strategically align distribution processes to fulfill customer requirements

Knowledge of specific supply chain capabilities, strategies and interdependencies to perform short and long term business planning.

Exposure to customs and excise preferred

SAP experience an advantage.

Excellent approach to Customer care including excellent telephone and listening skills.
