Ireland Reaching Out – are you from East Galway? Why not contact Ireland Reaching out?

Hello all,

First of all, I ‘d like to wish you all a very happy Christmas and  Merry New Year!
Maybe 2011 will be the year you’ll come to visit Ireland!

I posted my Christmas cards in my local post office in Ardrahan, Co. Galway and I picked up a little leaflet about a project called Ireland Reaching  out Programme, which is a programme or the economic and cultural development of the Irish people.

Ireland Reaching out is an Irish government sponsored pilot project which will enable the parishes for South-East Galway in ” reaching out”, and engaging with those who have emigrated from the area, and their living descendants. The project aims to invite those connected with the parish to become involve in an enlarged “virtual” community. Those identified will be invited back to their local parish for a Week of Welcomes in June 2011.
