    BioInnovate is now seeking of Expressions of Interest for the 2012 Fellowship programme

    BioInnovate Ireland focuses on specialist training programmes in
    medical device innovation and product design.  Cardiology is the
    clinical area of study for 2011/2012.  BioInnovate Ireland has
    unparalleled access to Ireland’s leading academic researchers,
    clinicians, and industry experts. This is supported by world-class
    facilities enabling the opportunity to:

    • Experience intensive clinical immersion in our teaching hospitals 
    • Identify potential medical device development opportunities
    • Avail of expert advice and direction from dedicated and experienced
      academics, clinicians, industrial mentors and serial entrepreneurs

    BioInnovate Ireland delivers two programmes:


    The Fellowship Programme
    This specialist training Fellowship programme on medical
    device innovation and product design commenced in August 2011 with 8
    Fellows enrolled. It is modelled on the prestigious Biodesign programme
    offered at Stanford University, Palo Alto, California


    BioInnovate Class
    BioInnovate I and II are post-graduate modules which
    address the growing need for knowledge in the Bio-design field. 
    Students from Business/Law/Medicine/Healthcare/Nursing, Science,
    Engineering and Information Technology are formed into BioInnovate teams
    who will walk a current problem statement through the Innovation
    process whilst being mentored by the Fellows, Academics, Clinical and
    Industry experts.
