Soccer Match in the Burren and Bumbleance Fundraiser

    Hello all,

It’s been a busy morning so far! Got up this morning to go to a Rugby training with Alex, shortly followed by a football match in Kinvara with Rueben. Kinvara is bordering the Burren, so the views from the pitch are stunning!Very sunny day, so I felt blessed being there( trust me, I don’t always feel blessed standing on the pitch to watch my sons play their favourite sports, just today the weather was in our favour!)

    Fundraiser for Bumbleance

As I mentioned a while ago I started doing a fundraiser for #bumbleance, which is a Kerry based charity, who offer an ambulance service from and to the hospital for very sick children. More info here http://www.bumbleance.com
I planted 240 hyacinth bulbs back in October, and they started to bloom starting end of December. You can read all about it on my other blog https://hyacinthflowerchallenge.wordpress.com/about/, that I set up for that project.

I dropped offt he remainder of the hyacinths to Horkans last week. Check out the lovely display of blooming hyacinths! So go on, why not pop over to Horkans in Oranmore, where you an buy a hyacinth for 5 Euros, All proceeds are  going to Bumbleance. Your mum will be thankful:)

I am all set for a nice glass of wine with my hubby, it’s warming up nicely at the back of our house:)
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

  • Buy a Bee – my very own Xmas appeal for BeeforBattens.org

    Hi all,

Ever since I watched the Late Late show a few years ago, I have had a soft spot for www.beeforbattens.org
I have been trying to figure out ways to help this charity in my own little way.
As some  of you might know, I used to run an online shop, and in the shop, I sold a variety of unusual baby gifts. I no longer run this now, but I do have some stock left.
I have 24 bees left, and want to donate the proceeds of the sales of these to Beeforbattens.org
I have listed them on Ebay, so if you are interested, they are 15 Euros each ,including shipping wherever you are, of which Beeforbattens.org will get just over 8 Euros, as Ebay takes 10 %, Paypal 3% and I am allowing 5 for shipping.
You can check out the Ebay listing :
    Support Beeforbattens.org
Below are just a few images of the Bees! They are great for babies with upset tummies.
Just heat the insert into the microwave and apply it to their tummies..

If you are interested to buy outside of Ebay ( oh no, how dare I to say that), you’ll need to contact me via katleenworkinginireland at gmail.com so I can send you Paypal request ( and Beeforbatten will get 10 % more:).
    Thanks for you support!!
