    Google Quality Evaluator, French, Dutch or German speaker

    Key tasks and activities:
    o          Make decisions regarding accuracy from multiple sources of data
    o          Review or research patterns in data, focusing on details and taking action to improve data accuracy
    o          Identify issues or inconsistencies in data and proactively question data quality
    o          Make outbound phone calls to business representatives to retrieve and/or verify information.
    o          Provide a professional face of the company to our customers
    o          Work on a computer for extended amount of time staying focused and working at a fast pace
    o          Potential side projects e.g. analyze metrics, recommend operational flow improvements based upon analyses etc.
     
    Qualifications & Requirements:
    o          Solid knowledge of grammar, spelling, punctuation, and related language and communication  skills
    o          Must have basic knowledge of computers, experience using personal computers, web browsing and data entry skills
    o          Dependable, reliable with a strong work ethic and ability to work with minimal supervision
    o          Logical thinking and independent decision making skills.
    o          Attention to detail together with creative problem-solving and analysis skills
    o          Effective time management skills
    o          Experience working and training in a cross-cultural environment with remote teams
    o          Flexibility in switching between duties and assignments as required.
    o          Detail orientated with experience working with high volume repetitive task
    o          Good knowledge of your home country?
    o          Fluent English with good writing and reading comprehension skills

    Export Sales Executive with fluent French and/or German required for permanent role in Wexford.
    The Role:
    To facilitate the continuing growth and development of our business, my client wishes to appoint a Sales Executive to join the existing commercial team. Based in thehead office in Co. Wexford and reporting to the Commercial General Manager, this is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to further their career in an established and very successful food processing company.     The Candidate:
    The successful candidate will ideally have a number of years experience in a commercial role in the food sector with a proven track record of delivery and meet the following specific criteria;
    Proven experience in managing retail/food service or wholesale accounts.
    Commercially focused & a strong negotiator.
    Highly organised and disciplined.
    Strong communication and presentation skills.
    Fluency in French and/or German is essential as you will be servicing these markets.

  • Galway Language jobs- take your pick!

    Galway Language jobs- take your pick!

    Hi all,
    As you might know, I am based in Galway, and I have noticed that the recruitment freeze that many companies had for most of last year has been lifted, as there are at least 3 companies hiring in Galway, which is very encouraging.

    Languages are a must, Experience helpful 🙂 and a degree essential in some.

    if you are so fortunate to get an interview I would recommend as a starting point to double check at the  start of the interview what position you are exactly applying for( they may have many) and what the requirements are( both experience, education etc.) as I recently sat through an one and hour interview to be told at the very end I couldn’t apply for a particular position because I didn’t have a degree. If the job/requirements had been laid out from the start, it would have been more beneficial for both parties:) I see it as experience, and it won’t happen again!

    So… who is recruiting… in no particular order..

    All these can be found on http://www.jobs.ie but I have also noticed that some of the recruitment agencies are having these jobs on their books  too! So once you have applied directly, a recruitment agency will not take your application further, as the company HAS your CV. If however you haven’t applied for the job directly the recruitment company will work with the recruiting company to arrange interviews etc.

    Should you go direct or via a recruitment agency? Most of the  jobs I have secured I did go through a recruitment agency, as the jobs were not very visibly advertised. As the majority of jobs are now clearly advertised and you can apply directly, it’s definately a route I would explore ( and I wonder if it would increase your salary negotations, as they didn’t have to pay an external recruiter, just a thought 🙂 )
