Free GP Care for under 6s in Ireland, where to register & check if your GP participates

Hi all,

If you haven’t heard it yet, the Irish government has introduced Free GP( General practitioner) care for children under 6. This is great news! With the GP Visit Card Under 6s your child will get free GP visits, assessments at age 2 and 5 and care for children with asthma from July 1st 2015.

To avail of this service, register your child here. Although the uptake of GP’s participating is quite high, you can check here if your GP participates in the scheme.
